About Me

A little about the Crazy Cruiser

I am writing this blog to help others and to just share my experiences with cruising.  I have been working in the IT industry for over 20 years and that is my real career.  This site is just a hobby to help others learn from my experiences so that they may enjoy cruising as much as I have over the years.  I am not getting paid for any of my views, so please enjoy this as it is meant to be, to help you.

When it comes to traveling, I have had a wealth of experience.  I have been traveling since the age of 3.  With my 46 years of traveling, it began to dawn on me that I might have some knowledge to help both new and veteran travelers alike.  I have been to London, Athens, Paris, Madrid, Crete, Martinique, St. Thomas, Nassau, Puerto Rico, just to name a few.  Most of these trips have been on cruise ships.  Many with family both young and old alike.  I have watched the cruise industry change from the “Love Boat” style to the “Fun” cruising you see now.

When I first started going on cruises, I was really young about 5-6 years old.  It was a rather stuffy affair since you always had to dress up for dinner at night.  Don’t get me wrong, they were fun trips and many places still to see.  But the way things were done back then have definitely changed.  I thoroughly enjoyed the crews of the ships and have fond memories of certain members myself.  Some of those things haven’t changed.  Such as custom orders for dinner.  (Meaning things that aren’t on the menu)

You can here this story and more with my blog posts please take the time to explore.

Thank you.
